Working Principles and Confidentiality

Individual sessions and psychosocial studies carried out in the Psychological Development and Counseling Center are carried out within the framework of the principles set out in the Turkish Psychological Association’s Ethics Code.

Contacting PDCC, applying and participating in individual sessions is voluntary. All sessions take place regularly on the agreed day and time, at a frequency determined according to needs.

Sessions are conducted under the principle of confidentiality. The content of the session or personal information is not shared with anyone. In the event that the person and/or someone else is in danger of harm or life-threatening situations, the necessary persons may be contacted in accordance with the Turkish Psychological Association’s Ethics Code.
